Jessie V. Pyrciak, 73, of Livingston Avenue, died Saturday (Dec. 6, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a short illness.
The former Jessie V. Sobieniak, a native of Niagara Falls, was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Portage Post 1465, American Legion. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing.
Her husband, Henry A. "Perky" Pyrciak, died in 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Henry A. of Grand Island and Robert J.; three sisters, Leocadia "Lottie" K. Fura, Helen Madej and Adele Pietraszewski; a brother, Henry Sobieniak Sr.; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 2437 Niagara St. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston.
