Mrs. Laura Belle Woodmancy, 64 years old, died at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home of her sister Mrs. Nellie Pletcher, at Normalville after an extended illness.

Mrs. Woodmancy was born near Bear Run on October 24, 1880, the daughter of the late Reuben and Hulda Moon Lowery, and had spent her entire life in that community. Her husband, Rodney, died about five months ago.

Surviving are three brothers and one sister, Clyde Lowery, Bert Lowery and John Lowery, all of Connellsville, and Mrs. Pletcher of Normalville. There are 20 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon with a brief service at the Pletcher home at 1 o'clock and full rites at the Indian Head Lutheran Church at 1:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in Spark Cemetery at Indian Head.
