BRADFORD: H. Randall Chamberlain, 81, of Rural Route 2 died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 1997, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, IL.
Born January 19, 1916, in Peoria to Harry and Margaret Ellen Watkins Chamberlain, he married Margaret Kovatch on June 8, 1946, in Wenona, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David and Gene, both of Bradford; William of Littleton, CO; two daughters, Mrs. Rick (Luanne) Smith of Williamsfield and Mrs. Tom (Sue) Terrell of Peoria; three brothers, Jake of Tiskilwa, IL; Warren of Varna and Norman of Metamora; four sisters, Mrs. Pat (Jerry) Rudd of Toomsboro, GA; Mrs. Jim (Mary Lou) Jeffries of St. Cloud, FL; Mrs. William (Jo Anne) Crissman of Fort Walton Beach, FL; and Mrs. Tom (Bev) Williams of Winter Park, FL; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Three brothers preceded him in death.
He was a farmer in the Varna and Magnolia areas for many years and was later self-employed.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Dunlap Funeral Home, Bradford, IL. Roy Ehnle will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery in rural Wenona, IL.
