Born in Columbus, Ky. on Sept. 27, 1941, he was the son of Boyd Charles and Lela Lorraine (Crain) Cole.
An army veteran, he owned and operated Cole Concrete.
He is survived by two sons, Tim Cole and Bobby Gene Keller; two daughters, Brianne Woosley and Rosie Rose; five grandchildren, Brenda Nagel, Justyn Troxtell, April Whitley, Tony Whitley, Cynthia Cole; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents; and three sisters, Hilda Hamilton, Pansy Covey and Betty Cole preceded him in death.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
