Be it the will of God to take from our presence Mr. Roosevelt Briley, April 13, 1982, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital at 6:00 o'clock. He was born to Doc and Mary Briley October 27, 1908 in McCurtain County where he spent most of his life; he was a veteran of World War II. He leaves to mourn in his passing two brothers, Ezekiel Briley of Tulsa, Hosie Briley Sr. of Valliant, one sister Georgian Shelton of Valliant and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Interment Clear Creek Cemetery; Officiating Rev. M.A. Logan; Rogan Funeral Home in charge.
