Bobby Gene "Q-Ball" Franklin ,63,passed away at Spartanburg
Regional Medical Center June 17,2013.Mr.Franklin is the son
of the late Jim & Lois Sanders Franklin .He is a retired truck driver in the logging industry and a U.S.Army Veteran
having served in the Viet-Nam war .He is a member of Gilead
Baptist Church .
Surviving are a daughter Jamie Lingerfelt and husband Tim,a son Shane Franklin all of Piedmont, five sisters Willie Rogers of Union,Jessie Cobb of Easley, Elizabeth Ivester of Jonesville,Donna Boulware of Buffalo,Jimmie Vaughan of Gaffney,a brother Joe Franklin of Jonesville,four grandchildren,Skiler,McKinzie,T.J. and Destiny,a number of nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Ellie Mae.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 PM at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel and burial at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors .
