Jessie Lee Franklin Cobb, of Pendleton, wife of the late Donald Cobb, Sr. passed away peacefully on October 11, 2023, at her residence and surrounded by her family. Jessie was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born in Jonesville, SC on September 26, 1935, to the late Jimmie and Lois Franklin.
"Miss Jessie" was a true blessing to anyone who knew her. Her strong faith and unconditional love are her legacy. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Mother to Charles Donald Cobb Jr, Stephen Michael Cobb Sr, Richard Timothy Cobb, Tara Yvette Cobb Byers, Tony Lee Cobb, Terry Darren Cobb, and Tracy Renee Cobb Scoggins. Grandmother to Nikki, Karla, Ashley, Michael, Justin,Brandi, Brandie, Chase, Stephanie, Jessica, Corey, Amber, and Rachel. Great Grandmother to many, and Great Great Grandmother to Cason.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she is preceded in death by three children; Tim Cobb, Tony Cobb, and Tracy Cobb Scoggins; two brothers, Bobby Gene Franklin and Joe Franklin; and two sisters, Willie Rogers and Liz Ivester.
