Mrs. Willie Franklin Rogers, 85, of 3291 Buffalo West Springs Highway, widow of Mr. Elbert Lee Rogers, died Tuesday March 3rd 2020. Mrs. Rogers was born March 16th 1934 a daughter of the late Jimmie Lee and Lois Sanders Franklin. She was a member of Gilead Baptist Church in Jonesville SC. Survivors include three daughters Rhonda Caughman (Keith) of Cross Keys, Tammy Willard of Buffalo, Joyce Lawson of Brunswick Ga., one son David Rogers of Union, four sisters Elizabeth Ivester of Jonesville, Jimmie Vaughan of Gaffney, Jessie Cobb of Easley, Donna Boulware of Buffalo, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her eldest child Linda Vinson, and two brothers Joe Franklin and Bobby Franklin. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 7th 2020 at 3:30 pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.
