Lorraine Arndorfer Campbell, 76, a native of St Benedict, died Nov 4 1987 in San Diego, CA following a massive stroke. She was a retired teacher.

Lorraine was born Nov 26 1910 in St Benedict to John and Caroline Mullert Arndorfer. She was graduated from Algona High School and earned a teaching certificate from Iowa State Teachers College [now University of Northern Iowa], Cedar Falls. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from UCLA.

Lorraine taught in Kossuth County schools until 1944 when she moved to California. She married E C Campbell in Los Angeles and taught in California schools until her retirement.

She had no children and is survived by four sisters; Mathilda Goetz, Wesley; Irma Lichter, Algona; Marian Arndorfer, San Diego CA, and Betty Loebig, Colorado Springs, CO, and two brothers Clarence and Art Arndorfer of Algona. One brother Arnold, is deceased.
