Della Catherine Hylton Ferrell,75, passed away Saturday June 12 1993 in a Buchanan County Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Buchanan County Virginia and was a daughter of the late Issac W. and Rachel Boyd Hylton,Jr.
She was a native of the Contrary Creek section of Buchanan County Virginia and was a lifelong resident of the Raven Virginia area.
She was preceded in death by one son--James Donald Ferrell.
Five brothers.
One sister.
Her Aunt that raised her--Rebecca Hylton.
Survivors include her husband--Josh V. Ferrell.
One daughter--Betty Ann Ferrell of Arlington Virginia.
Two half sisters--Madeline Hylton Deskins of Colorado and Georgia Hylton Powers of Marianna West Virginia.
Five half brothers--Henry Hylton of Oakwood Virginia--Leon Hylton of Doran Virginia--Elmer Hylton of Raven Virginia--Billy Hylton of Raven Virginia and Clarence Eugene Hylton of Beckley West Virginia.
Three grandsons and three great grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands Virginia with the Revs. Randy Webb--Joe Gross and Ancil Childress officiating.
Pallbearers are--Sterling Osborn--Arlin Osborn--Crobbie Smith--Berlin Viars--Ray Horn and Dale Ward.
Burial will be in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill Virginia.
