Final tribute will be paid Sunday afternoon to Mrs. (Mellie) Josie Sturm, 67 of rural Caldwell. Mrs. Sturm died at her home Wednesday after several weeks of illness and hospitalization.
Rev. W.J. Thomas, pastor of the Corbin Methodist Church will officiate at the Schaeffer Chapel at two-thirty o'clock. Interment will be in the Cozine Cemetery northeast of Caldwell.
Mrs. Sturm was born September 7, 1889 in Caldwell, the daughter of Joe and Lydia Billings Stonehocker. She had resided in this community during her lifetime. Mrs. Sturm was a member of the Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, Mellie Sturm; one brother, Sam Stonehocker, of Lahoma, Oklahoma; and one sister, Clara Yost of Kansas City, Missouri.
