FERRISBURG - Funeral services for Benjamin A. Field, 53, who died Wednesday eveing after a long illness, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at his home. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.

Born in Ferrisburg, Aug. 23, 1910, he was the son of Thad and Rosanna (Hamel) Field.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katherine Van Keurin Field of Plattsburgh,. N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Fillon of Plattsburgh; four grandchildren; seven brothers, Thomas Field, Howard Field, and Charles Field of Vergennes, Robert Field of Danville, and William Field of Middlebury; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Bodette of Addision, Mrs. Harriet Choiniere of Vergennes, and Mrs. Ruth Little of North Ferrisburg, and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Field home Friday evening and all day Saturday.

It has been suggested that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to Dr. Roy L. Swank, University of Oregon Medical School, Portland, Ore., for multiple schlerosis research.
