Funeral for Eva Lou Green, 76, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Western Hills Church of Christ with Harley Davidson, minister, officiating.

Mrs. Green died Monday, May 23, 2005, at her home.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. at Buffalo Cemetery, near Sweetwater, under direction of Becker Funeral Home.

She was born Nov. 22, 1928 near Sayre, to R. L. and Lora B. Chisum Williams. She graduated from Sayre High School as valedictorian. She married Billy Royce Green in Wheeler, Texas, on May 5, 1948. They moved to Tipton in 1956, where they lived until 1995 when they moved to Lawton. She was a charter member and past president of the Southwest Oklahoma Branch of American Pen Women. She served as president of the Oklahoma Statewide Electric Auxiliary and was on the staff of the Tipton Children's Home for 16 years. She was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Royce and Pat, Vernon, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law: Jana and Ernie Manning and Suzanne and Kevin Harrington; all of Lawton, four grandsons: Brett Manning and his wife, Lori, Chris Manning and his wife, Katy, Matthew Green and Koby Harrington; a granddaughter, Ali Harrington; a stepgranddaughter, Patricia Johnson; a great-granddaughter, Elena Manning; a brother, Calvin Williams, Canadian, Texas; a special niece, Marilyn Lynch; and several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Nancy Ann; her husband; her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
