J. M. CAMERON DIES SUDDENLY:

Funeral services for James McCarley Cameron, 69, who died yesterday morning at his son's home here, will be conducted at 3 p.m. today from Dunbar Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. John E. McEachern and the Rev. T.F. Reid. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mr. Cameron had been in declining health for several months, but had been seriously ill for only a week.

He was born in Fairfield county, but had made his home here for the last 32 years. He was track foreman for the Seaboard railway.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. J. H. Gordon, Mrs. W. C. Stogner, Mrs. A. O. Coker, Mrs. S. E. Martin: three sons, W. T. Cameron, J. A. Cameron and T. M. Cameron, all of Columbia; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, J. T. Cameron; three sisters, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers are to be Edmond and J. T. Cameron, and O. V., J. S., W. S., and J. W. Gordon

Honorary pallbearers are to be Dr. M. H. Wyman, Dr. L. J. Brannon, W. P. Hamrick, W. M. Mobley, B. E. Davis, J. L. May, B. H. Lumpkin, H. H. Knox, J. L. Stroud, C. B. Pursley and H. G. Martin.
