"ALICE B. MUSTAIN SERVICE TOMORROW"

The funeral for Mrs. Alice Burchett Mustain, 64, of 49 Carlson Ave. will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at West Main Church of God by the Rev. Fred D. Hopkins and the Rev. Jeffrey Hopkins. Burial will be in Schoolfield Cemetery.

She was pronounced dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital Sunday night.

She was born Feb. 2, 1910 in Danville, a daughter of the late Nelson and May Warner Shell. She was a retired employee of Dan River Inc. and was a member of West Main Church of God.

Her first husband, Kessie J. Burchett, died in 1946.

She is survived by her present husband, Cyrous H. Mustain; two sons, Kessie J. Burchett of Danville and Jerome Burchett of Eden, NC; six daughters: Mrs. Eva Killian of Cornwall Heights, PA, Mrs. Evelyn Dix of Bachelors Hall, Mrs. Hazel Greene of Greensboro, NC, Mrs. Louise Engle of Newkirk, OK, Mrs. Viola Dix of Ft. Gordon, GA, and Mrs. Faye Blair of Danville.

Also, a brother, Charlie Shell of Danville; five sisters: Mrs. Caroline Crumb of Norfolk, Mrs. Frances Bailey of Thomasville, NC, Mrs. Lizzie Mae Hess of Spencer, NC, Mrs. Nannie Foster of Salisbury, NC, and Mrs. Maude Dillon of Danville; 35 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The body is at Swicegood Funeral Home and the family is at the residence, 49 Carlson Ave.
