Sarah Eleanor "Ella" was born to James Hervey and Eleanor Jane McChesney on Feb 8, 1858 in Fredonia, Caldwell County, Kentucky.
She was the 7th child and 2nd daughter of 13 children born to J. H. and Eleanor Jane. She Married Joseph Nathan Wigginton in 1882, who was a miller by occupation. They had one son, John Hervey Wigginton who was born in 1883. The 1900 Census shows that Joseph and Ella with son, J. Hervey in Plano, Texas. Here, Joseph's occupation was a teamster, [wagon driver]. Ella died in Plano, Texas, in 1902.

Their son, John H. Wigginton went to live with his aunt, Kirby Smith McChesney Fitzpatrick where he played in a band. John served in the US armed forces both in World War I and World War II.

Son John Hervey Wigginton's grave site is at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, Suffolk
