Laura Parker, 86, formerly of State Route 93, Glenroy, died Friday, at Scioto Memorial Hospital, Portsmouth. Born October 4, 1904, in Glenroy, she was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church, Glenroy.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, William T. and Rosa Goheen Parker; and eleven borthers and sisters. Surviving are several neices and nephews, including Karen Carter, of West Portsmouth, Rosalena Casey, of Gallipolis; who ere raised in her home; and one brother, Richard Parker, of Jackson.
Friends may call today, Monday, at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel, from 2p.m. to 4p.m. and 7p.m. to 9p.m. Funeral services will be conducted 1p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with Reverend Pat Bailey officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
