William J. Parker, 73 year-old Glenroy resident, passed away at his home on Tuesday after an illness of two years. A life long resident of this county, Mr. Parker was a retired coal miner.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Nancy Green of Akron, Mrs. Dorthea Hammond, Laura, Ruth, and Mrs. Lucy Jones, all of Glenroy, three sons, Toner, Willard, Richard, all of Glenroy, and one brother, Isaac Parker or Urichisville.
The body was taken to the Parker home where it remained until Friday afternoon at 2 O'clock when services were conducted in the Glenroy Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Delaughter officiating.
Burial was made in the Glenroy Cemetery under the direction of the Clyde E. Mayhew funeral service.
