He died in Cortez, Colo. where his son Odis Martin and his family lived. He is buried in Lamesa Memorial Cemetery in Lamesa, Texas. He married Georgia Oma Shahan on Feb 5, 1916 in Haskell, Texas. Together they had 5 children: Odis Martin Northcott 1916-1970, Oma Dee Northcott born 1918 and will be 97 years old next month. This is written the first of September 2015. Georgia Christine Northcott 1926-1927, Robert Clayton Northcott 1927-1974, and Wendell Arnold Northcott 1929-1931. Richard Odis, Georgia Oma, Georgia Christine and Robert Clayton are all buried in Lamesa Cemeteries with the exception of Wendell Arnold. He is buried in the Pride Cemetery which is north of Lamesa around the Welch Community. Odis Martin Northcott married Martha Jo Taylor and had two children, Odis Ireland and Martha DeLois whom we called "Cookie". Odis and Martha Jo are buried in Colorado. Oma Dee married William Duron Phillips in 1936 and they had two children Dennis Martin Phillips and Mary Duronell Phillips. Dennis married Diane Fistori and they have a son, Buck Phillips and live in Pleasantville, N. Y. Duronell married Charles Warren in 1957 and they had three children: Kelli Belinda Warren, Jody Phil and Jon Mark Warren. They were all born in Lamesa, Tx.
