Frances I. Green, 73, of Waverly died at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Oct. 13, 1912, near Waverly, a daughter of Edward and Gertrude Bailey Brown. She married Royal C. Green in 1947 in Jacksonville and he survives.
Also surviving are one son, George Edward of Waverly, Iowa; eight sisters, Mrs. Dale Heriford and Mrs. Sam Piercy of Waverly; Mrs. John Jeffers and Mrs. Charles Roberts of Springfield; Mrs.Bill Johnson and Mrs. Richard Druktenif of Santa Maria, Calif., Mrs. Stanley Fletcher of Modesto and Mrs.John Burnell of Jacksonville; two brothers, Edward Brown of Bethalto and Robert Brown of Springfield and two grandsons.
Services were held Friday, Dec. 6 at the Neece Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial was in Waverly cemetery.
