WALLACE TUCKER DIES IN NEW ORLEANS ON SUNDAY AT AGE 42

Wallace Hannegan Tucker, aged 42 of Luling, La., formerly of Hampton, died Sunday, January 7, 1962 at a New Orleans hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1919 in Calhoun County.

Survivors include his wife, Jettie Mae Reynolds Tucker; a son Howard Tucker; two daughters, Cherry Tucker and Kathy Tucker of Luling; five brothers, Madison I. Tucker of El Dorado; Harold Tucker and Dan Tucker of Luling; Robert Tucker Jr. of Smackover and Max Tucker of San Antonio, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. J O. Newton of Hampton and Mrs. Floyd McGaugh of Longview, Texas; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Tucker of Hampton.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Happy Home Assembly of God Church by Rev. Carl Davis and Rev. A. G. Calloway. Burial was at Pickett Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were: Ben Stringfellow, Amos Ables, Joe T. Hannegan, Clifton Ables, Hugh Hannegan and James Howard.
