THURSDAY RITES CONDUCTED HERE FOR R. E. TUCKER
Funeral services were conducted in Hampton last Thursday for R. E. (Bob) Tucker, aged 87, a lifelong resident of the Hampton area who died Tuesday of last week in an El Dorado hospital.

Well-known throughout the South Arkansas area, he was a retired farmer and was active in the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Madrid Newton of Hampton and Mrs. Melba McGaugh of Longview, Tex., five sons, Madison Tucker of Little Rock, Robert Tucker of Smackover, Harold Tucker of Hampton, Dan Tucker of St Louis, Mo. and Max Tucker of San Antonio, Texas, two sisters, Mrs. Viola Hannegan of El Dorado and Mrs. Nellie Stringfellow of Hampton, and 23 grandchildren and eight grest-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the First Assembly of God Church in Hampton by the Rev. Jewel Murray. Burial was in Pickett Cemetery under the direction of Benton Funeral Service.
