Robert Edward Tucker, Jr., 74, of Norphlet, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, at his home.
Born Sept. 6, 1917 in Hampton, a son of Robert Edward and Katheryn Hannegan Tucker, he has lived in Norphlet for the past 40 years; was an oil field production foreman, and a member and deacon of First Assembly of God Church in Smackover.
Survivors are his wife, Myrtis Avant Tucker of Norphlet; three sons, Terry Tucker of Smackover, Bobby and Ralph Tucker both of El Dorado; one daughter, Theresa Trotter of Leesville, La,; two brothers, Harold Tucker of Hampton, Maxwell Tucker of Conway; two sisters, Madrid Newton of Little Rock, Melba McGaugh of Longview, Tx.; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Smackover with Rev. Danny Malone and Rev. Steve Moss officiating.
Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Young's Funeral Directors of El Dorado.
