Obituary - Carroll Daily Times Herald on April 11, 1973:
Funeral services for Mrs. Cecil Anderson, 68, were held Tuesday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Huffman Memorial Chapel, lake City. Rev. John Holland officiated. Mrs. T. J. Williams was organist. Mrs. Herbert Doty and Mrs. Von Pierce sang. Pallbearers were Raymond Higgins, Don Higgins Jr., Vernon Main, Frank Anderson, George Anderson, Kim Barkmeier, Steve Main, and Randy Bass. Burial was in Lake City Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson died Thursday at Stewart Memorial Hospital at Lake City. She is survived by her husband, four daughters, two sons, three sisters, 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pearl Marmon Anderson was the daughter of Nora and Daniel Morman (spelled Morman in some records). Her father died in 1905; brother Raymond died at birth. Her mother married Isaac W. Jones and she was a step-sister to Ella, Anna E., Margaret, and Alice R. Step-sister Velma died at two years of age; step-brother William died at birth.
She married Cecil Anderson and they were the parents of: Vivian, Charles, Mardelle, Delbert, Barbara, and Connie.
Pearl and her husband operated nursing homes in Fort Dodge and Lake City, Iowa in the 50's and 60's.
