The funeral of Will Pendleton, 77, was at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 22, from the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. The Rev. J. W. Brown officiated. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Mr. Pendleton died at his home here on McNear Street at 4:50 p.m., Friday, December 20, following a heart attack. He had been in ill health for several years. He was born in Casey County and had lived near Acton the greater part of his life. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lena Elkins Pendleton whom he married about 54 years ago; a daughter, Mrs. Morrison Caffee, Louisville; a son, Wesley Pendleton, Campbellsville; three sisters, Mrs. T. J. Watson, Mrs. Leslie Barnes, both of Campbellsville; Mrs. Sam Roberts, Louisville; a half-brother, Edgar Pendleton; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. One grandson, Bernard Pendleton, was reared by Mr. and Mrs. Will Pendleton. Pallbearers were Leonard Barnes, Kermit Pendleton, Boyd D. Pendleton, Ivan Barnes, Junior Pendleton, and Jack Pendleton.
