Obituary

Alice J. Lynch

Alice J. Lynch, 74, of 394 Prospect St., Phillipsburg, died Wednesday at Warren Hospital after being stricken in her home. She had been under a doctor's care.

Born in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Walsh Caton.

She was a graduate of St. Philip and St. James High School and a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Her husband, Alfred A. Lynch, died in 1970.

Surviving are two brothers, Philip Caton, Phillipsburg, and Edward Caton, Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Helen Rumold, Phillipsburg, and Sue DeSesso, Peapack, NJ, and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the Doyle Funeral Home, Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Township.
