She is preceded in death by her parents, Aurby Noel Johnson and Irene Pate Davis. She is survived by her husband, Lon Smalley, daughters Jetta Eyerman, Lavelle Meier, Debbie Bennett; sons Laurice Bennett and Dale Beezley, sisters Alverne Hollingsworth, Louise Lyles, Elouise Pepper, brothers; Dale Johnson and Curtis Johnson As well as 11 grandchildren.
Elaine will be creamated and buried next to her mother in West Mount Olive Cemetery. Mount Olive, Bienville Parish, Louisiana
