CARLISLE Blanche Elizabeth Nickel, 83, of 121 N. Bedford St. died Monday in Carlisle Hospital.
She was retired from the Troy Laundry of Carlisle and was a member of McClure's Gap Church of God and Salvation Army of Carlisle.

Surviving are a son, George A. Nickel of Carlisle; a daughter, Deloris I. Barrick of Newville; a brother, Lloyd Chestnut of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Helen Clevenger of Newville; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 1: 30 p.m. Friday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro Twp.
