Born in Anderson County, South Carolina, Janie Griffin Styles was the daughter of the late Isaac Neil and Margaret Ellison Griffin and wife of William Fred Styles. A member of Brandon Baptist Church.
Among her survivors are her husband and three grandchildren who were reared in the home, Mrs. W.A. Austin Jr. W.F. Clark and James I. Clark all from Greenville; eleven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home on Thursday at 2 p.m. with internment in Graceland Cemetery.
