Howard was retired from Fisher Body in Lansing after thirty-eight years of service, working various jobs as a line operator. He was an accomplished tinkerer, enjoying the carpentry work he did as he built things for family and friends, and while working on his property as he improved the land.
Survivors include his son, Howard Anderson, Jr. and his wife Charlotte of Lansing, Michigan, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are nine brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by both parents, a son Teddy in 2011, and five brothers and sisters.
A service celebrating Howard's life was held on Tuesday, February12, 2013 from the Rowley Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Cremation Followed the funeral service.
