Louis R. King funeral to be tomorrow
Louis R. King, 69, past president of the Cremation Association of America, died yesterday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the seventh ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, directed by the Green Lake Funeral Home.
Mr. King , manager of the Washelli Columbarium, was born in Canada. He came here from Utah in 1941.
Mr. King was past president of the Ballard and Fremont Lions Clubs, zone chairman of Lions International and a member of the Lake City Elks. He was organist for the Elks for seven years.
He was a life member of the Musicians' Union Local 76 and the Eagles. He was president and organizer of the Northwest Cremation Association and past president of the Seattle Luncheon Club and a member of the Allied Memorial Council.
Surviving are his wife, LaPriel, at the home, 10843 12th Ave., N.E.; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Johnson, Austin, Tex.; his mother, Mrs. Louis D. King, Raymond, Alberta; two brothers, Shirley W. King, Raymond, and Harold T. King, Calgary, Alberta, and four sisters, Mrs. Niles Wing, American Fork, Utah, Mrs. Stella Hill, Bremerton, Mrs. Necia Mullett, Cedar City, Utah, and Mrs. William Mehew, Provo, Utah.
