The deceased was born in the town of York, Nov. 5, 1855, and lived there until about twenty years ago when he bought the Lambert farm and became a resdient of this vicinity. He has been a member of the board of supervisors of the town of Argyle and was held in high esteem by his neighbors. By honest industry and good business ability he had accumulated considerable property and leaves his family well provided for.
He is survived by a wife and seven children. His mother died in the spring and his brother Henry's wife was buried just weeks before his funeral, making many afflictions to the family within a short time.
His father, G.G. Vinger is still living, also seven brothers and two sisters.
Rev P.W. Erickson conducted the services at the Lutheran Church on Monday, and the burial took place in Woodlawn Cemetery.
