Mrs. G.G. Vinger died at her home in the village of Argyle yesterday morning, aged 73 years, 6 months and 10 days. Her maiden name was Martha Carlson, and she was born in Norway, Sept. 26, 1837. In 1852 she came to America with her parents and settled in the Yellowstone neighborhood.
In 1854 she was married to G.G. Vinger and they went to the town of York to make their home, living there until about twenty years ago, and since then they have resided in Argyle and vicinity. She had been in poor health for about a year and had been seriously ill most of the winter, and the end had been expected for some time.
Besides her husband she leaves ten children. They are Gus, Lewis, Ed, O.G. Brady, Henry, Theodore, Mrs. N.O. Nelson, Mrs. N.J. Nelson, Mrs. Ever Everson of the town of Argyle, and Mrs. Belden, of Elgin, Iowa, are sisters.
The funeral will be held in the Lutheran church Saturday at 10:30 and the burial will take place in Woodlawn cemetery. Rev. P.W. Eriksen will conduct the services.
