María Tomasa Ignacia Lugo y Martínez was born at Villa de Sinaloa, Sinaloa, about 1763-65. She accompanied her parents to Alta California with Capitán Fernando Rivera y Moncada in 1774. She married José Raymundo Carrillo y Pasos at the Monterey Presidio Chapel (San Carlos) April 23, 1781 (SC Marriage 00168). She died at San Diego and was buried in the Presidio Cemetery May 28, 1816 (SD Death 02617).
