Albert E. Jordan, Of Flat Rock, Died Monday

Albert E. Jordan, age 24 years, son of Mrs. Prudence Jordan, who resides two miles northwest of Flat Rock, died yesterday afternoon at a camp near Montgomery, Alabama, of pneumonia.
Mr. Jordan had been in training there since August 4, and was taken ill with influenza about a week ago, which later developed into pneumonia.
He was born May 28, 1894, and had spent practically all of his life near Flat Rock. He was married a year ago, to Miss Hazel Wyrick, of Flat Rock.
Mr. Jordan was well known throughout the county as a fine young man, and his many friends will be grieved to learn of his death.
Besides his widow and mother he is survived by one brother and two sisters, the brother being Burley Jordan, who resides in Flat Rock. The sisters are Mrs. Will Treon, and Mrs. Grace Beatty, both of whom lived in Flat Rock.
The body will arrive some time tomorrow. Funeral arrangements will be made later.
