Died Early This Morning At Flat Rock
After Lingering Illness

Death occurred early this morning at 1:30 o'clock to Mrs. Prudence Jordan at her home in Flat Rock after a lingering illness, due to cancer. She had been critically ill for the past week. She was 66 years of age.
Mrs. Jordan was a resident of that community for many years and had won the admiration of many friends. She was known for her pleasant ways and courteous treatment to all with whom she came in contact. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters of Flat Rock and the Roberts M.P. Chapel west of Flat Rock.
She is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Will Treon, of Mt. Auburn, Mrs. Grace Beatty and Burley Jordan, of Flat Rock. Three half brothers, Landy and Freemont, of St. Louis Crossing and Ben Ensley, of Taylorsville and one half sister, Mrs. Ed Hill, of Nineveh. Also a sister who resides in Kansas. Funeral arrangements will be completed Saturday following word from Kansas.
