Barry Woodrow Chapman, 48, of Lexington, formerly of Canada, died Saturday, December 22, 2012, in Tennessee.
He was born August 3, 1964, in Cincinnati, OH., the son of Douglas Chapman of Canada and Sadie Reed Chapman of Lexington.
He was self employed as a carpenter and was a member of the Sharondale Church of Christ.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Ashley Chapman Bias of Gallipolis, OH., one sister, Carol Bobb of Hendersonville, Tenn., three brothers, Shannon Chapman of Sidney, Craig Chapman of Columbus,OH., and Kelly Chapman of Whitehouse, Tenn.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012, in the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, with Michael Elswick and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Varney Branch Cemetery, Kimper.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
