He was born October 23, 1962 at Cincinnati, OH, to Douglas Chapman of Canada, KY, and Sadie Marie Reed Chapman of Lexington, KY. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Barry Chapman and he was a retired coal miner.
Shannon is survived by his wife, Jackie Chapman of Sidney, KY, daughter, Amanda Marie Stanley of Canada, KY, and son, Kameron Reid Chapman of Sidney, KY. He is also survived by two brothers, Craig Chapman of Columbus, OH, and Kelly Chapman of Whitehousee, TN, and his sister, Carol Bobb of Whitehouse, TN. Three grandchildren, Ethan, Braydon and Luke May and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday February 4, 2017 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Morris Cemetery, Dix Fork, Sidney, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
