Sadie Marie Chapman, age 75 of White House passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her home.
She was born January 20, 1945 in Hardy, KY to Woodrow Wilson & America Scott Reed. She worked as a medical records clerk for the Tennessee State Women's Prison before her retirement.
Mrs. Chapman loved the ocean and spending time on the beach. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, especially the children and grandchildren. Even though she didn't really enjoy cooking, she was an excellent cook and had many wonderful recipes.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Shannon Chapman and Barry Chapman; sister, Elizabeth Hunt.
She is survived by 2 sons, Craig Chapman, Columbus, OH and Kelly Chapman, White House, TN; daughter, Carol (Jeremy Stone) Bobb, White House, TN; daughter-in-law, Jackie Chapman, Canada, KY; sister, Phyllis (Don) Hill, Naples, FL; 8 grandchildren, Amanda, Melinda, Crystal, Ashley, Erin, Andrew, Tanner and Kameron; 10 great-grandchildren.
There are no services or visitation scheduled for Mrs. Chapman at this time. The family plans a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.
