Anthony Michael was born on May 14, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio the 8th of 13 children of John and Maria Giovannina (nee Iacobucci) Del Zoppo. He had brothers John, Clarence, Louis, Michael and Alex and sisters Filomena, Clara, Josephine, Carmela and Suntine.
He married Agnes Saletel March 20, 1939 in Cleveland. They had four children listed above.
They had been married 58 years when Agnes passed away on Dec. 29, 1997 in Cleveland at age 79. Services were at St. Mary's Church on Holmes Ave. on Jan. 3.
Tony was living at 675 E. 157th St. when he passed away almost three years later on Aug. 9, 2000 at age 83 from heart failure at home. Services were at St. Mary's Church on Holmes Ave. on August 12. Both are buried at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
He was a manufacturing maintenance worker. He was the proud grandfather of six and great-grandfather of four.
