OBITUARY
Bobbie Jene Christensen
---
Bobbie Jene Christensen was born near Plover, Iowa, April 27, 1928, and departed this life at Palo Alto County Hospital, Emmetsburg, Iowa,
Feb. 8. 1936, having reached the age of six years, nine months and 11 days.

Bobbie had seemed to be in good health until a week ago Tuesday, Feb. 1, when he was stricken with appendicitis. All was done that seemingly could be done for him, but he went home to be with the Lord.

Bobbie leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Soren J. Christensen, and seven sisters and three brothers -- Mrs. Claude Hansen, of Cylinder, Mrs. Jennings Muldoon of Mason City, Mrs. Ernest Hubbell of Plover, Mrs. Wm. Schmidt of Mallard, Mrs. Clyde McGuffin, Mrs. Russell Kauffman and Harold Christensen of Rolfe, and Warren, Alvena and Dale at home -- to greatly miss his presence here.

Thus the Lord has been pleased to take a dear one from us to be with Him. We should not mourn as those who have no hope. Jesus has said and still saith: "Let the little ones come unto me, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Funeral services were held in the McIntire funeral home Thursday afternoon, Rev. O.G. Smith, the family's former pastor, officiating. Interment was made in Clinton-Garfield Cemetery at Rolfe.
