Erma F. Seidschlag, 88, a resident of the Beaver Dam Care Center, died on March 9, 2000, at the Care Center.
Private family services will be held at a later date. The Rev. Paul Lindau will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Beaver Dam.
Mrs. Seiedschlag was born on Jan. 10, 1912, the daughter of Xavier and Laura (Guse) Wild, in Kekoskee. She was married on Oct. 3, 1928, to Louis Siedschlag, in Oakfield.
She was a resident of Beaver Dam for many years. She worked at the Weyenberg Shoe Company, Beaver Dam, for 32 years, retiring in 1975, and was a member of First Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Jack Jenkins, Beaver Dam, four grandchildren, Rory and Wendy Jenkins, and Scott and Sam Salaja; three great-grandchildren, Andy, Heather and Corey Jenkins; one sister, Selma Kragel, Brownsville; nieces, nephews, relative, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971; two daughters, Mavis Salaja, in 1987, and Bev Jenkins, in 1996; one sister, Viola Hackbarth; and three brothers, Melvin, Gilbert and Norbert Wild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church and the Beaver Dam Care Centery.
The Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, is serving the family.
