GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER of:
Thomas Lindley (1706-1781) & his wife, Ruth Hadley (1711-1785), Quakers.
Their land was the place of the Revolutionary War battle "The Battle at Lindley's Mill".
Col. John, M.D. Pyle (1723-1804) & wife, Sarah Baldwin (1723-1799).
John had been a Loyalist that was injured in the Rev. War. The story is he went to Gen. Washington and switched sides. King George III offered 5000 pounds for his capture. John spent the rest of the war caring for injured American Patriots.
Gideon Hogg (1725-1793) & wife, Judith Pittman (1726-1793).
Gideon was an American Patriot in the Revolutionary War and gave supplies for the Continental Line.

28 March 1839 - Married Levi Millholland in Polk Co., Missouri (his name was spelled 'Mellhollan' on document)
1850 - Census; Residence, District 8, Hopkins Co., Texas
abt. 1854 - Went to California by wagon train with her husband, Levi, who was Captain of the 175 wagon train.
1856 Sept 29 - Arrived with Levi, and their children in New York from Panama, on ship "Illinois". Evidently they left California by sea rather than land.
1857 - The family is in Hopkins County, Texas
1859 - Sarah had died by 1859, when her husband remarried.
