He was born in 1811, in Tennessee, moved to Missouri and fought in the Indian Wars, then, moved to Hopkins County, Texas in the fall of 1849. He died in April 1854, at the age of 42 years and is buried in the Lindley Cemetery near Posey, Texas.
She married 2nd, Bartholomew "Bat" Millhollon, June 24, 1857, in Hopkins County, Texas, he was the widower of her sister, Elizabeth. (Documented in the Linley Family History )
