Phenix City -- James W. Forrester, 85, of 4408 Bridgewater Drive, Phenix City, died Tuesday at Doctors Hospital (Columbus GA).
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McMullen Mortuary, Columbus, with burial in Parkhill Cemetery.
Mr. Forrester was born March 22, 1907, in Cowarts, Ala., son of Buford D. and Addie White Forrester. He lived in the Columbus-Phenix City area seven years and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He retired from Helms Foods and was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Jane Calhoun of Phenix City, and two brothers, R. Charles Forrester of Ellerslie, Ga., and Carl L. Forrester of Phenix City.
