Mrs. William Buker, Well Known Resident of County, Died Tuesday

Mrs. William Buker, an esteemed Woodville lady died at her home in that township yesterday morning at ten o'clock after an illness of several months of a heart and lung affection.

The deceased's maiden name was Sophia Lewer and she was born in Hanover, Germany, May 17, 1866.

When a few months old, she came with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lewer to this country, the family settling first at La Crosse, Wis., later moving to Owatonna. After a six month's residence in that city they moved to this county, and settled on a farm in Vivian. This was the home of the deceased until her marriage on August 26, 1882 to William Buker, and since that time she and her husband have made their home on the latter's farm in Woodville.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Martin of Woodville and Walter at home. She is also survived by a brother, Henry V. Lewer of this city and two sisters, Mrs. L. Frahman of this city and Mrs. Anna Helmond who lives near Portland, Oregon.

The deceased was a splendid woman and has numerous friends throughout the county who will be grieved to learn of her death and will extend sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.
