After three weeks' illness with typhoid fever, Martin Buker passed away at his home in Woodville Wednesday evening.
On March 7, 1917, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Minges, who with an infant son, survives him. He is also survived by his father, William Buker and one brother, Walter.
The funeral services were held at the German Lutheran church in this city Saturday afternoon. They were conducted by Rev. Duerschner and were very largely attended. Interment was made in Woodville cemetery.
The sympathy of the community goes out to the relatives of this young man, and especially to the young wife and child; and to the father who has been called upon to mourn the loss of his wife, his father, and now one of his sons, all within the space of three months.
