Anna Catherine Fehliman, daughter of Louis
and Catherine was born near Evansport,
Ohio on January 19, 1858 and was the oldest
of four children, all having preceded her in
death except a sister, Mrs. Louis Purkey of
Culever City, California.

She was married to James Whitney Wood-
ward on January 16, 1879. To this union
was born seven children; Oliver Woodward
Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, Calving Wood-
ward, Quinter, Kansas, Clarence Woodward
Eldon, Missouri, Mrs. Ruby Irene George,
Newton, Kansas, Ralph Woodward, Quinter,
Kansas, Mrs. Mabel Stewart, Frankfort,
Kansas and Miss. Blanche Woodward of the
home. Her husband having passed away
on January 9, 1936; she had fourteen grand-
children.

She move to Kansas in 1902 and has been a
resident of Marshall county since 1913. The
past ten years she has lived in Frankfort.

Funeral services were held at the Presby-
terian church with John Milton Oliver
D. Ph D. officiating.

Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
