MRS. MINERVA DUFF DIED AT HER HOME AT SILOAM THIS MORNING.
Mrs. Minerva Duff, formerly of this city and the mother of Mrs. E. L. Green, of 1215 Maine Street, died this morning at her home in Siloam.
Death followed an illness of four months, a complication of diseases ultimately causing the demise.
Mrs. Duff was 68 years old and had enjoyed good health all her life and was energetic and busy up to the time of her present sickness. Her taking away at this time, while it was known she was seriously ill, will be a surprise to many. A dutiful wife and mother, she leaves besides her husband to mourn her loss, four daughters, one son and thirteen grandchildren: Mrs. Ed L. Green, of Quincy, Illinois; Mrs. Henry Bemis, of Siloam, Illinois; Mrs. R. H. Benneson, of Kansas City, Missouri; Mrs. J. E Harwood, of Buda, Illinois and Perry D. Duff, of Galesburg, Illinois.
Arrangements for interment will be made later.
