DOROTHEA ZLATOHLAVEK
Mrs. Stanley C. Zlatohlavek, 71, of 1118 S. Lake St., Manitowoc, died Saturday
evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Zlatohlavek, nee Dorothea Gaestel, was born Aug. 25, 1893, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Arnold and Fredericka Kugler Gaestel. She was married to
Stanley C. Zlatohlavek April 4, 1912, at Racine and the couple located at
Manitowoc. She was a Sunday school teacher at St. John United Church of Christ,
Manitowoc. Three brothers and a son, Alvin, preceded her in death.
Surviving are the husband, a son, Ellsworth, of Manitowoc, a daughter, Mrs. Hubert
Meyer, of Manitowoc, brother, Fred Gaestel of Manitowoc and a sister, Miss Hilda
Kugler, of Milwaukee and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home this Monday afternoon and evening.
